I just hope people don’t write it off based off of the singles bc I really think two of the singles are my least favorite on the album. Hint one of them isn’t god damn. (I still like them, and think they work better in context) Just really excited for people to hear this!! Is it November 2nd yet? That’s also the day before I get married.
This is an album full of songs that sound like the singles, while not sounding like an album full of the same songs. You will be belting these songs out for months to come. I would be surprised if this isn’t your favorite of theirs. It certainly is mine.
All of their releases are very distinct from one another. This release is no different. If you’re looking for Season 2.0, this isn’t it.
Not looking for anything just gonna be hard for this to top it..maybe for no other reason than the timing. It was a big record in my life at that point, maybe the biggest. Having said that, I’ve liked everything I’ve heard from this more than anything they’ve released since The Season so I think that’s a good sign.
I sort of don't like getting records early haha, all I wanna do is talk about this record with y'all. I know little sympathy will be thrown my way. haha The lyrics are starting to settle in and I'm connecting with it more and more.
rose is an amazing song and i don’t think that it’s so different that it couldn’t fit on the record but i do think that as an opener it sets the album up to sound like something it is not. also i ADORE you’ll survive as track 2
Yea haha. I’ll have to change it. Good song tho! the country bridge is one of my favorite parts of the record
