I like all forms of All Get Out but we have a bunch of classic AGO and was really liking the alt-country direction they were going. I’m still pumped out of my goddamn mind. This band can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned.

 

Kodak sound is my favorite, but I would also very gladly take something that's more in the vein of Nobody Likes A Quitter or No Bouquet.

It's kind of crazy to look at the date on this thread and think that it's actually almost been two years since I saw them live the night before the album dropped.

 

I think their last record is my favorite next to The Season. I’m actually kind of bummed at the thought of them abandoning the alt country sound.

 

I wouldn’t say full on abandoned. I would just say that it is still very melodic just more energetic of a record.

 

The album is a blend of NB and Kodak IMO, but it also goes to some new directions, sorta like loud southern rock. Songs are super catchy, vocals are emotive, and they stick with you. I think anyone who celebrates their discography will enjoy it. If you just want the season it’s probably not going to be for you but there is actually a song that reminds me of the season at times vocally, there’s a cadence he uses in it that is very similar to the way he sang back then. Anyway, shouldn’t have to wait too long to hear it.

 

Stoked for it! Instagram looked like they were at a mastering studio in Charlotte on Fri. Hopefully that means we all start to see some movement soon, like y’all have mentioned.

I’m still baffled this band doesn’t have a Wikipedia page.

I adore this band but still think the Movement EP is my favorite thing they’ve released.

 

If you go to Matt Maeson’s tour, you may see a familiar face…

 

15 years later (!!!) and I still am holding out hope they put this song on an album. Blew me away the second I heard it and I will randomly come back to it every year or two.

 

I bet I account for at least half the views on this and the one of me and my lovers from the same show

 

then it's nice to meet the person who's racked up all the views aside from me. lol

 

It’s a great song! I don’t think it will ever be released outside of a possible demos release or something though.

 

Well I can speak on behalf of @shea and myself that we'd probably pay a decent amount of money for that single demo. lol

 

Same! Love that song. I ripped it and put it on a cd for my car but the quality is so terrible

He put everything up on bandcamp recently, would be cool if he also added some demos. Or if he put it up on his inactive patreon

I think the daytrotter session had an acoustic version. People begged for a full band one.

 

It’s a Season bside but this version is just a demo. I don’t recall them playing it for daytrotter. There was a minimal acoustic demo of it on myspace along with your girl my gun her ghost. I can’t immediately find it on youtube but can dig it up if people don’t have it

 

They did it for the Daytrotter with (my white whale) Time and Place and Lucky Bastard. I only know that off the top of my head bc of how many times I’ve listened to Time and Place lol.

 

Time and Place is such a beautiful song.
