The Blu-Ray had better not cut any songs like live DVDs usually do That would defeat the purpose of the full album thing though so I doubt they'd do that
Remember guys, if you're in the states don't buy the Blu Ray until it's released in the states. More times than not things from the UK aren't compatible here. With that being said, it's definitely shot footage since they had cameras set up in Chicago.
So I definitely know what I'm buying myself as a late Christmas present. My only wish would be that it comes with a digital audio file so I can put it on my iphone to be able to listen to too.
Glad to hear they were shooting. Since they didn't announce any cds I wondered if they just put audio on Blu Ray cause it would fit better or something
I’ve really gotta get my hands on a live version of My Shame Is True/DVD. Who knows the next time they’ll play deep cuts from that album, if ever. Especially since Dan stated the songs are difficult for Matt to perform because he relives the pain that went behind writing the album.
Just remembered thatt he other night that I missed was A&I and FHTI....ugh. Getting to see those 4 albums in 2 nights would have been amazing. Also, I know they've grown since then, and I know Matt's 'dark' lyrics have started to get a little repetitive, especially with use of the word "black"....but I gotta say I wouldn't be opposed to them diving right back into their Good Mourning/Crimson sound and look when they get back in the studio. I guess it'll never be the same without Matt's shredded up throat though.
I'm gonna have to buy the box set and blu-ray haha. I was at all four nights in Chicago, and these are likely recordings of those shows.
I went to all 4 nights in Cleveland and it was the best I'm at least getting the blu ray and the shirt probably. I really want the box set but I really don't need it
More than anything I really want the My Shame Is True and Good Mourning last Lives on vinyl with the DVD.
