God I remember when they debuted In Vein at....Warped Tour maybe? The BLood Pact was all over that video...I musta watched that shit hundreds of times before the album came out

 

Now we've finally hit an album where I honestly couldn't give a shit about a good deal of the songs.

I remember Derek put out a thing on Myspace (lol) to download a bloody mask of his face. You were supposed to wear it to a show and take a photo of yourself. After you sent it in, you got sent some A&I demos. I think I still have my photo somewhere.

 

Dan is probably the best thing about this album.

It's probably my favorite of the ones I didn't vote for.

 

Lost and Rendered is really good but In Vein is one of Dan's best songs. Other than Love Love Kiss Kiss, which is good but not great imo, Dan absolutely crushes on this album.
