So lame. Who wouldn't be psyched about the worlds current greatest and notable drummer being part of your/one of your favorite band's next project? ESPECIALLY when there's a need for said specialty. Same thing happened with Yellowcard. I will never understand it.
Definitely into the idea of Travis drumming for Trio but I do hope he shows a bit more restraint than he usually does for them in particular
I’m psyched Travis is going to be drumming for the record but bummed Atom left. It’s not been uncommon for Travis to do all the drums on bands albums. Atom may have been not down for that but maybe not some big dramatic fallout. I am stoked we got recorded songs with him and wish it would have been a longer tenure, but having a Travis ak3 record is going to rule. I have high hopes for this album. Loved the ep so much. BH&E was awesome but my least favorite of their albums in the last few years. Excited for something new and fresh from them.
Tosh is a great drummer who got big on Instagram and then became a a session guy and touring drummer for bigger acts, namely Lady Gaga. He’s a bit Travis-lite with his chops and stage presence. That said - wish it was Atom and I may always wish was Atom.
I am assuming he’s doing the drum parts on the new record. I could see him doing some dates but I highly doubt he’d be the new drummer in the band. Tosh rules!!!

Rise Against doesn't do much for me nowadays but I wouldn't mind seeing Alkaline Trio again. The ABQ date is super tempting.
I didn't stay for all of RA last time they toured with Trio and I'm even less interested in them now lol
The little blurb RA put out also mentions how they're both Chicago bands, too. I have no interest in seeing RA in 2026, and the date closest to me is at an absolute trash pile of a venue, so I'm gonna sit this one out.
Great coheadliner. Glad the 23 punk ak3 photo cleared up that the new drummer is in fact a skeleton. Very on brand.
