I like both songs and don't understand the gripes. If Travis' name weren't on it, people wouldn't be making a big deal out of it.

 

I really enjoy the production of My Shame Is True. Kind of forgot all about that record when this conversation started the other day.

 

I love Bill Stevenson's production, especially with Rise Against and such.

Bleeding Out is so damn good. Music is just too easy for Skiba lol

 

Yeah I can’t stop listening to it. So good. Dan’s bass work in the song is amazing, as always.

 

When I first listened to Bleeding Out I wondered what it would sound like with Dan on lead vox instead. Not a criticism, just an observation.

 

It's so much a patented Skiba melody I can't even picture it lol

Getting new Alkaline Trio and new Creeper on Halloween? We are spooky season feasting

 

Now it makes more sense why before the blink tour Skiba said "we have some surprises in store" or something along those lines. I was hoping for a blink/alk3 split 7" lol

 

They've always planned to surprise release 3 singles they did with Travis. Pumped to complete the trilogy.

 

Aside from the songs themselves, I’ve really enjoyed the art direction on these singles.

 

Really looking forward to another new track! The last two are really strong.

 

Is this up in New Zealand?

I haven't been keeping up, has it been confirmed that these three songs are just singles? Or is an album announcement imminent?

 

Just three singles they recorded with Travis, nothing else has been recorded

 

I know the odds say this should be a Dan song but it'll feel odd that it's not a Skiba song on Halloween haha

But new Trio on Halloween is perfect either way

 

I would love if they did a whole record with Travis. These songs ruled and Travis is getting sharper as a producer with more established bands.

 

really hope travis does not do the next one but the aesthetics of bleeding out are def worth building upon for the next one with a different producer
