An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

probably like this one more than Oblivion, great groove and that bridge is a very cool new take on Matt's voice we haven't heard before. I'm quite bummed that there's apparently no Dan song in this little run though, next album needs to be 3/4ths Danny to compensate

Great song! Too bad we’re not getting a new album out of this.

Song kicks ass. Also, the music video is up on Apple Music but doesn't seem to be on YouTube yet. Fun performance video.

These two songs are the best they've ever sounded to me.

Easily the best production they ever had. Loud and Clean. It fits them well.

It’s definitely their best production since Finn, i’ll fully agree to that. More importantly, these are just strong tunes and I wish we were getting a full album. Poppy with the darker undertones that I loved on Crimson and A&I.

Trust me I love 99% of stuff Jerry produced. I never liked Crimson’s production, especially the filter on Dan’s voice. But also I’m one of the few who prefer Agony & Irony and This Addiction over almost everything. So it’s more personal take rather than statement. To me, this is the best they sounded, especially after the Eyballs which is kinda ruined for me by the way it sounds.

Travis posted on his IG stories that he can’t wait for people to hear the EP. I was under the impression they only recorded 3 songs with Travis and the last one is coming out on Halloween. Am I wrong?

Yeah I mean I guess they can group all 3 songs together and sell it as that.

Does this remind anyone else of Punk Rock Cliche a little bit (the Fat Mike song he wrote with Skiba for the Blink album)?

Sheesh!!! Love hearing Atom really putting his mark on this song. Dude is one of the best drummers in his scene and I’ve been waiting to hear him let loose in Alkaline Trio. Get these dudes back in the studio with Travis tomorrow for the follow up record.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Travis produces the next full length and this EP was them testing the water and giving fans something for the time being.

I know a lot of people are hot and cold on Travis’s production but it harkens back to the Agony and Irony era of the band for me, and besides Crimson, that was the album that got me into them the most as a sophomore in high school.
