Fuck yeah this owns. Is there a new album coming?

 

I dig it. As a listener for two decades now, I can appreciate the fact that each record/era has its own characteristics. This is obviously more polished than the last two LPs but it does give me that Crimson/A&I vibe. Excited for what's to come!

I’ve heard complaints about the Travis production but this sounds great. Cameron got 2 of the best albums out of Alk3 in recent memory so hopefully they continue that trend with a new producer. Great song!

Travis’ production is a modern touch. Not that it sounds like A&I production (which is my favorite Trio production), but the modern delivery is the same.

I can recall 2 times I’ve heavily criticized production and that’s with Feldman’s production with blink’s CA and the new rise against album about to drop haha.

 

Dig the song. Can't help but wonder if the song title is at least a partial nod to the Chicago band Oblivion.

This track rules. I don’t think this sounds anything like a blink song, it sounds like a modern ak3 track with some throw back poppy elements. It’s rad Travis has a signature production sound. He’s definitely getting better and has a distinct point of view as a producer. With the newer artists he definitely leans harder on pop punk tropes, but when he works with veterans it’s just great expressions of their sound. Felt it on YC and this one especially.

The chorus melody and lyrics are peak stuff. It’s wild how Skiba never sounds stale but maintains such a specific point of view as a lyricist and songwriter. lol I heard the song and thought “oh wow not so dark comparatively to other ak3 releases…” then I turned the video on

 

Wow song is fantastic…love the chorus and the lyrics.

 

I hope that we ultimately get an EP with all three “pieces” rather than only getting three separate 7” single releases.

 

Great song.

 

How about a 7in split with blink for tour. Travis teased a song called City of Angels around the time the LA fires were happening.
