Against me not being active is not really anyone’s fault. Life and the pandemic just happen. Everyone in the band had moves, job changes, kids, accidents, and routines that have shifted priorities. It will come back again eventually. If anything, Laura is the one that wants it back the most.
I'd say I'm as equally excited to hear what Derek does on his last Trio album as I am to hear what Atom does on the next one
Sorry for posting a video of the same song but at least it's from a different angle. I seriously love watching Atom Willard play.
Looks like they played 9 total songs from Good Mourning and Crimson, so a pretty good setlist in my opinion.
Crossing the streams a little bit here posting an AM! vid, but I've had this bookmarked for a couple of years now because of how fucking fun it is to watch Atom play. Plus, it's one of my favorite bands playing 4 of their records and the sound is incredible.
Oh hey that's my friend's video and yeah he and his crew do a truly great job. That whole weekend was seriously the best time.
That's awesome. Give him a high five for me next time you see him because he and his crew are doing a phenomenal job.
Just found this version that Derek uploaded (the original version of How The Hell Did We Get Here if anyone doesn't know) and Derek commented on it four months ago saying he'd been pushing for new deluxe editions, they had 30 songs for Agony
man that had to be so cool for them, playing at Wrigley Field, after playing across the street at The Metro for so many years.
Foo fighters get Josh Freese and he’s straight up bringing new life to that band. Alkaline Trio gets Atom Willard and I couldn’t think of any other perfect fit for these guys. Yet, it’s such a bittersweet change for both bands that it makes me feel weird haha.
