Trio’s his main band, but I still don’t get the complaints. Plus he pulled a class act move when addressing his departure. He’s probably just happy to be done with “certain” blink fans/stuff that goes on with being in that band, even if he enjoyed most experience from his comments

 

That's a song from Skiba's 2010 solo record, which did happen to be released by Asian Man.

 

With him doing a solo SKiba song for the post I assume it would probably be some solo material but they definitely have to be recording an album soon so who knows

 

Whatever it is, I'm beyond ready.

 

It’d be cool if it’s some of those Blink songs he had written before getting the boot.

 

Why waste a good song leaving it in the shelf (although I feel like he must always be writing based on the number of projects he’s in).

I have even higher expectations for the next Trio album because Dan’s solo record is my favourite thing he’s done as a songwriter/vocalist.

 

I feel the same way about the Bygones record, and consequently have similar high hopes for the next Trio record.

 

Have they started on the next trio album? I've been out of the loop

 

I dont remember where I read before but someone said they spoke to Derek during Coheeds tour, this past summer, and they said they had studio time booked in Jan or Feb.. so its most likely Trio, my guess. Which... fuck yeah.

Also Skiba is black metal fan himself.
I’d take even heavy synth 80s goth rock Trio album at this point.

I just want them to do something different and heavy this time.

 

Is This Thing Cursed? and E.P. were both fantastic so I have really high hopes for the next release.

I keep forgetting how fucking good "Radio Violence" is.

 

That whole EP was gold but yeah.. Radio Violence is insane how catchy it is.
