I was in the very front, in front of Dan. When you could hear his bass over the super loud kick and subs, it sounded fucking perfect. Dan always has the best bass tone in the scene.
That’s the way I feel, I saw them last weekend at beer fest in Atlantic City and they showed no signs of slowing down considering anything Blink related is in the distant future.
I’ve only ever been a casual coheed fan, but I have a few friends where this is a dream lineup for them haha
Coheed and Alkaline were two bands that my friends and I all got into at the same time, back around 2003. They've always been linked in my mind, so this is definitely a dream lineup for me haha.
Wow that's a pretty crazy/diverse set list. Some interesting choices I wouldn't have expected. The Poison and Back To Hell seem like out of nowhere haha. Starting off the set with a "newer" (by their career standards anyway) non-"classic" trio song is an interesting choice too. Also only two GM songs and one of them is Fatally Yours. Crazy.
Wonder if they’ll switch it up much. They used to throw quite a lot of variety in their tours, but recently they’ve played almost the same set every night for each tour, probably due to lack of time Matt has dedicated to it with other commitments, and some stand-in drummers.
They're playing "Calling All Skeletons" in the original key. They never did that originally, kind of cool.
It’s not like the band is in studio without him and he’s sitting around waiting. Matt’s always been an Alk3 guy first and foremost. I guess it’ll workout how it’s supposed to in the end, and it’s nice he has a positive takeaway from his in to the band up to this point (and hopefully beyond).
Adore that site, but I was hoping to avoid song spoilers. Not sure if Trio is the type to switch up setlists night after night.
Before blink they were quite good at switching up sets, not so when they had a fill in with Derek out. With Derek back I imagine they will again
does not look like theyre changing sets daily on this. kind of a last minute tour and they're direct support so I don't see much incentive for them to. great set though, im excited.
guys... i was invited to the coheed/trio show in houston last friday. my date miffed on the times completely. we walk into 713 and i hear familiar music in the background. it was 'back to hell' from trio. we missed about 75% of their set. needless to say, i was very disappoint.
