I think MSIT is very possibly in my top 3 by them. Definitely top 5. I fucking love that album, it hits the entire way through for me Good Mourning and Crimson are always gonna be my favorites though
Been listening to nothing but Trio while having covid. All albums, front to back. I never really appreciated every song on Good Morning, until now. Great album, still a little flawed production IMO. Could be because they spent so much time getting Matt's vocals done. All on Black could've been a cool closer instead of Blue in the Face, which doesn't fit the rest of the album.
my friend gave me a burned copy of Good Mourning when it came out and All On Black was the last track. The rest was in sequence with the actual track listing. So I went years thinking AOB was the closing track. Always thought it was a great choice to close out the album because of that haha.
I think I’ve read this before about the backing vocals on goddamnit but still funny. I always thought the parts in the Clavicle verses where Dan holds his “agooo” notes was an interesting/strange choice, I guess this might be why? Lol
Lyrically the first one really nails what I love about Skiba. Both are great though and better than what he was doing in Trio at the time, for me anyways
Is Kourtney going to find out she's getting engaged from Matt Skiba in Great Britain on youtube? lol (they might already be engaged and I just don't pay attention to that stuff sorry)
Haha I figured as much, but the way he worded it, I think he was trying to say working on "wedding stuff" but it made it sound like he was planning to get engaged, which would be a hilarious way to spoil your bandmate's surprise to his future wife
This “Tom” situation or status of the band feels mismanaged by the band and the individuals already. There lots of time and opportunities to course correct it so it’s not a big deal. Just a little lame for a bunch up professional musicians if they have a plan or idea.
