I think as time goes by, I like Dan more than Matt at this point. Some of Matt's stuff hasn't aged as well as Dan's. His solo stuff has always been incredible.
It’s pretty fantastic when they do songs together. Both guys have a bunch of great songs, in Alk3 and on other projects. I may have a slight bias to Matt lead vocal songs, but I’m pretty pumped for Dan’s solo album (wish it dropped already) and hope they both continue to do Alk3 and other projects.
I didn’t know what terms certain bands were on with Vagrant. They label had so many good bands and none of them are on Vagrant anymore.
I wonder when we'll get another Trio album. With Dan's solo coming out next month and Blink presumably getting back in the studio soonish, it could be a whiiiiile. I wonder if they did any writing together on the recent tour. It's possible Mark has to avoid shit right now with his health. I'd be fucking terrified of brining covid into the studio with me if I were one of the other guys. So depressing to think about. I know he's in remission now but knowing a favorite artist is that vulnerable right now while watching these numbers skyrocket is shitty. It's bad enough worrying about myself and my family lol
Haha…hope they get out some more new music this year. Gotta say, Dan’s new album in February has also been sounding pretty awesome.

Someone from Brazil asked Matt about a new Heavens record on a recent Instagram post of his. He answered back in Portuguese. What I was able to grab from a quick Google Translate: "Joe and I have been talking about making another album to heaven and we've actually started / won over half a new album already, but we wrote this shit super fast. he has beautiful kids with erica from heaven, so as soon as things start to make more sense and we adjust to this new reality - especially with kids - let's break up. and I'm dying to go back to Brazil. to do shows, surf and cool asses. for all! lots of love and a happy 22 brazilian friends"
I’ll take that as they worked on something for Heavens, rather quickly due to time constraints such as things as family. He hopes they complete it when it works.

Just listened to the new Dan songs. This new solo album is gonna his best work isn’t it? Between his new album and Greg Barnett’s debut solo album….dang, gonna be some good stuff.
I just finished listening to all the Dan new tracks on YouTube an hour ago (as well as listening to Greg’s new songs and the upcoming Gang of Youths record songs). This is already my favourite Dan solo album and some of these songs may end up being some of my favourite Dan lead vocals songs ever.
