Do you think Matt was writing stuff during the Blink tour?

 

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. These Trio shows in Chicago were announced and now Dan is starting to demo stuff. It just makes to much sense. I think what Derek told me may end up being true !

 

Hell yes! It's already been too long.

 

Hopefully Matt will open up about something soon. He hasn't really mentioned anything about the Chicago shows, neither has Derek.

 

I can see them probably announcing something at the Chicago shows.

 

Me too. I kinda have to think they are warm up shows.

 

If he knows Trio won't begetting back to work until next fall or winter, he might wanna put more ER stuff out there...

Been listening to Agony & Irony recently. I forgot how obsessed I was with that album when it first came out. Do You Wanna Know? and Burned is the House are probably my favorite Dan songs aside from Broken Wings.

We can't forget Smoke either. Great song.

 

Hopefully during those three shows this week, they drop some information about timetables for working on the next album

 

Damn, I definitely had it in there originally but left it out for some reason. Absolutely one of my favorites.

Looks like he deleted all but one of those pictures. I wish he'd left them up. I didn't get to see the Blink fans freaking out haha.

 

I wonder if he was asked to take them down.

 

I would definitely say management and or the label asked him to take it down. The first one was probably removed for the black mass hashtag. Otherwise, it just looked like a concert photo. The video I can see why he removed it. With younger fans they probably don't know what satanists are and get the wrong impression. There was a bunch of confusion in the comments.

 

From what I gather he has deleted nasty comments before on his IG, he probably just didn't feel like dealing with that many at once.

 

I wonder how many of the Blink fans that were freaking out know he's not really a satanist lol.

 

Well, I mean, he is/was a card carrying member in the Church of Satan. Even if it was just for shits and giggles.

Haha yeah, it was funny reading. There would be Blink posters being like, "what the heck is this" and then Alkaline Trio fans saying "he's always been a satanist". It was funny. As a long time Trio fan, I don't remember hearing he was satanist, but I don't really dig into their personal lives much. That's creepy to me.
