Dan is doing an acoustic tour (that isn't coming within 2 hours of me and I'm so pissed) though February and March so the earliest they'd get in the studio would probably be April

 

And then Matt is off on the European tour in June. I think its more likely they record in the fall. And you'd have to think blink goes back into the studio in January to record their follow up.

 

I didn't realize Dan had that many plans for next year. I definitely don't want them to squeeze the studio time in just to get it done, rather they'd take their time. That means fall. Kind of a bummer.

 

What if Dan and Derek got tired of waiting for Matt to be done with Blink so they replaced him with Tom

 

If they did it with a new band name I'm interested

The crazy thing about that is Dan and Tom's voice would sound good together.

 

Does anyone else really love From This Oil Can from the first Emergency Room album? Such a beautiful song.

 

I love it and the closing track. A great end to the album.

 

Haha that would certainly be interesting but I don't think that Trio fans would be as welcome of Tom as most blink fans were to Skiba.

Now I'm picturing Tom trying to see Matt songs in his Tom voice. Haha.

Dan added a whole bunch more tour dates into April and May and all the dates that I could conceivably make are happening durign a road trip of New England I'm doing with the g/f. And the dates that he's up in New England just don't line up with our schedule at all...unless we do the trip in reverse. The Philly date is smack dab in the middle so that one is out either way. I am sad.

Edit---Hmmm, he's doing a show on long island somewhat near where her family is from. If we do the trip in reverse that date lines up pretty well actually...

 

Gosh, I freaking love this band. Stand up dudes, too. I can't wait to see what they come out with next. Does anyone have a heart & skull tattoo?

 

I've seen multiple cases of people showing off that tattoo, only to have another person show off their own in a nice bonding experience.

Of course these are always at Chicago punk shows, so it makes sense that nearly everyone has one, but I still love seeing it on people.

 

No, but I'm considering making a variation of it be my first. I love this band more than words. I feel like it's only right.

 

I've got that sailor jerry skully butterfly tattoo as Matt on same place of hand as him but my skull is alkaline trio one of course;) I just got strong related feelings with his lyrics and it's not weird to me since A3 are my favorite band for long 12 years

 

A good friend of mine has like 5 Trio tattoos on her, some pretty cool ones

 

I think I might like Kuts more than Babylon at this point, which is saying a lot. "Krazy" is such a fantastic song.

 

Kuts has definitely over taken Babylon for me.

Would be awesome if so and would make sense. I would love to hear new Alkaline Trio by Halloween...at least a new song. I think it's possible!

 

It's gotta be for a Trio record ! I don't see any point in a new Emergency Room record yet.
