I am obsessed with serial killer documentaries and the personality behind those people. Constantly listening to true crime podcasts and researching them. But I promise you I’m not a serial killer. Maybe people are looking into this to much?

I have seen people come out and say it quite often on this site. I don’t care to go back and read the entire thread but can only imagine it was assumed or else I’m not quite sure what anyone is arguing about.

 

They want him to basically say Nazi bad. That’s the crux of this whole thing.

This is what I'm genuinely confused about. Of course this would be the right thing for Matt to do, but how is arguing with each other in a thread that he will never see going to help?

To be fair, for the same reasons why defending him here when he doesn't give a shit doesn't make a lot of sense, posting about him here probably isn't really effecting business as usual for him either lol. His social media mentions are probably the best spot for that.

yeah but it's not like we've had a resurgence of serial killers in the last 10 years that have threatened the lives of marginalized peoples and are trying to turn democracy into fascism as we speak. Again it's not so much that people think he's a nazi, it's the platforming and glorification of the symbolism and such that bothers people, especially in the context of the times. The last 10 years and the way people have been radicalized online should give you no questions that yes, there are in fact people out there who would do something as dumb as read a book about nazis that skiba posts about uncritically, and come away from it thinking some good things about the nazis. It's hard to believe that is possible, but, it definitely is. We've seen lots of proof of it over the last decade with youtube videos and white nationalism.

 

The being friends with Nazis is definitely disappointing. Doesn't Matt also support the Chicago Police Department? The same police department that literally killed a 13 year old last week.

I wish he would rescind his support of them while we are on the subject of shitty things he does.
