Looks like Spotify had "Radio Violence" as one of my top tracks this year. I believe it. Probably one of my favorite songs they've done in years.
Hope him and Dan AND DEREK ((GOD DAMMIT I WANT A REAL ANSWER ON HOW HES DOING AND WHATS UP)) bring the fire.
I hope Derek is doing well. They haven’t really addressed anything after this, but it’s a good sign he felt ready to play with the band again.
Do you think he has to be like “Okay Matt be more spooky as you write this one” when he decides to write for ALk3 instead of blink lol Also yeah the timing of that Derek comeback sucks for Derek. Imagine dealing with anxiety and getting to the point where you're like I'm ready to get back out there and then two weeks later the entire world shuts down
man I love bands who invite white supremacists to read poetry on their tracks. so cool. haha black lives matter.
Hopefully it’s a full length and it’d be cool if Derek was able to join Matt and Dan. Wasn’t he working with Cameron Webb in the remote recording for Blink? I could them working with him on the next Trio album again.
I was actually really glad that ITTC still sounded just like normal Trio, it almost feels like he has a switch that he flips when he wants to write for whichever band
Doesn’t look like Jeff Rosenstock is producing this one though. A shame as I thought he did a great job with Party Adjacent.
I personally was hoping for a return to more "guy and a guitar" Dan, but he's going full band again so it'll be interesting to see if having a whole new group instead of Rosenstock ends up changing the sound and mood and overall tone of it at all I guess it's possible he's embarking on another side gig and this isn't ER but I assumed it was ER haha
Im so excited based off that.. I admit, I was letdown by Party Adjacent. I felt like the production didnt live up to the songs.
As much as I want new Trio, new Blink, new Sekrets, new projects, I also want another Matt record or Ep in the vein of the Kevin Second split. I know that sounds greedy, but with Matt it all seems possible.
20 year anniversary of From Here to Infirmary. Looks like they HDified the music video for Stupid Kid in celebration
