Mark said that about First Time and Pin The Grenade and those are definitely Enema/TOYPAJ sounding. Mark hit the nail on the head describing those two songs. Those two, Darkside, Heaven, Heart To Speak Of, and Run Away are the bees knees. Matt needs do something about Heavens!
for the hell of it, i reworked the tracklisting for This Addiction, swapping out some awful album tracks with better b-sides and alternative recordings: This Addiction Reboot, a playlist by Kirbie Bennett on Spotify
Easily one of my favorites here (it's better than the title track and certainly better than Dorothy, in my opinion) and I think one of Dan's best songs.
I’m kind of surprised these guys haven’t put on a live stream from the metro or something of that nature.
Im betting Skiba isnt in Chicago unless he needs to be, and its been way too quiet from the Trio camp ever since the Bad Religion tour was cancelled. I get it.. Skiba focuses on blink and his new side projects. Im hoping Dan surprises us with a new Emergency Room record in the next year or two at LEAST..
Dan lives in Florida and Matt lives in LA so would definitely take effort to get together and play Would have loved a Halloween at Metro stream though
BR/Alk3 would have been cool, and if They had that time together maybe they would have been able to talk new music ideas
Yeah i really hope that tour still gets to happen at some point but, unfortunately, I have a feeling blink will become priority for Matt when the time comes. Matt’s taking the quarantine stuff very serious too, so if anything like a live stream show happens I will be very surprised.
Agony & Irony is the shit. I've been listening to it this week. Definitely my 3rd favorite from them. The production is timeless and the songs hit hard. Underrated album.
Agony is good for sure, but after Do You Wanna Know I don't really care about any of the songs. Easily my second least favorite
Calling All skeletons In vein Ruin it Lost and Rendered (the shit and very underrated! I feel like this song could be on the latest blink album) Into the Night Fire Down Below Do You Wanna Know Burned Is The House Super solid songs right there. I’ve always been partial to Live Young, Die Fast too. The vocal melodies in that song are beautiful.
"Do You Wanna Know" is one of Alkaline's best songs. It's really the only song I care for on Agony. There are some great b-sides from it though, like "Burned is the House" and "Fire Down Below." It's a bummer those two aren't on spotify.
Also, for the fun of it, I once again played around with Crimson's tracklisting and made a playlist for anyone interested: Kirbie's Crimson
