A&I is at a minimum in my top 3 albums for them. NEver understood the (mild) backlash it got otther than people were unhappy they went from the glossy goth punk to the more alternative rock sound
A&I was my first Alk3 album, but it's definitely in my bottom 3. Lots of good tunes, but just not as strong front to back as their best stuff. There's like a glut of Matt songs in the middle that are kinda lame
I agree! I really like it. I don't like Over and Out, Live Young, Lost and Rendered, Into the Night, or Ruin It.
So that is the only blemish on the album for me, and it's a huge one. I very much hate that song and still never learned to like it lol
Agony & Irony was also my first trio album outside of bits of Crimson after it came out. I used to be obsessed with "I Found Away". Most likely an unpopular opinion, especially for longtime fans, but it will probably always be my favorite AK3 record.
The AOL sessions (Even if they were auto-tuned or not, I dont care,) are some of the best recordings. Speaking of "Do You Wanna Know?"
"Do You Wanna Know?" is easily one of my favorite Dan songs. Also fuck, "Radio Violence" is so goddamn good.
I love that so many artists are doing this. I personally can't keep up with them all at all, but I still love the concept
