Derek isn't on it.

 

Has anyone gotten confirmation yet? I asked on Insta and looked around but never got an answer.. If thats not Derek doing backing vocals on Radio Violence then idk who did.. Derek always did backing stuff for a lot more of Dans tracks and Matt always seems to do his own backing vocals (Which I clearly hear on his track.)

 

Cannot wait for Derek to be back.

 

The drummer posted about it on his Instagram page after they recorded. He changed his profile to private shortly after.

Ooooh thanks. Thats lame. They announced he was back for the tour so I was hopeful.

 

Thats why I was struggling to really say I know just from listening. He has a more distinct voice and for some reason I hear Matt clear as day doing his backing vocals but for Dan I just... I dunno man. Haha. Love this EP regardless. Songs sound great and I was REALLY in love with Dans bass tone.

 

Actually just found screenshots in a text conversation with a friend.

 

I honestly do think it is Matt doing backing vocals, also on Mind Like Minefields I really love how they threw a little of that prog sound in there.

Nobody cares about Skiba being friends with Nazis and having one of them do spoken word on a track from Agony & Irony? I very much doubt that's the case. Although whether or not you yourself find that concerning or not is up to you, personally.

And if caring about popular musicians associating with/platforming Nazis is "acting like a child", then put me in a diaper I guess.

The pedestal of not condoning Nazis or people who associate with Nazis? Nah it isn't lonely at all, pretty confident there are a lot of people on it with me. Interesting decision to reveal yourself as not being among them, though.
