Heavens in 2007 was the first show I ever went to on my own. So glad I made that decision.

I’ll never forget seeing Heavens at The Ottobar here in Baltimore. Matt got beyond hammered and ranted about John Waters all night long. Still loved seeing them but damn, so glad he’s made a turn for the better since those days.

Aight, I re-listened to Babylon and Kuts this weekend I think I like Babylon more. How the Hell Did We Get Here is a dope song.

Buttttt the run from She-Wolf through She Said is really damn good.

 

Lonely And Kold too. That’s my fav on Kuts

 

Krazy is my favourite.

 

I have those Past Live DVD's and still have yet to watch them because I don't havea BluRay player .

I also find it nuts they haven't been ripped and posted on youtube.

 

I'd love a third Sekrets album at some point. Matt's super busy though with Blink & Trio so probably won't be for a couple years.

 

I just play them on my Xbox One.. Im about to buy a bluray player for my PC cause yeah.. those Past Live blurays look and sound INCREDIBLE. Dan was kinda sick and he sounds even more angsty and it worked for his voice.

 

Glad to see Derek! Was a bit worried since there was never really an update after he missed the last tour.

 

I keep on forgetting that Derek lives here. Also a reminder to me that I should go to Jolly Pumpkin more often.

 

I'm selling the rare Heavens record and picture disc, both signed by Matt, as well as Kuts on record, red and blue variants. Also the Demos record, purple marble. I'd like to try doing it this way before resorting to e-bay and their fees. I have a post up in the Trio fan group on facebook if you're on that but I will take offers here as well (meaning initial asking price or higher if you so choose). Buyer pays shipping. Heavens record starts at $200, it's in excellent condition and signed by matt. If you're not familiar with this pressing or why it's so expensive, it was only pressed once years ago and this is the only variant of it that exists. More info here: Heavens - Patent Pending

Picture disc is patent pending single by heavens, never played, still in the plastic it came it. It's signed by matt. The plastic is a bit aged since it's the original packaging but the disc itself is pristine. Starts at $20

Kuts starts at $30 for the red still in the shrink wrap. The tear in the sticker is how it arrived.
$40 starting for the blue, this did not come to me in a shrink wrap but it's never been played and has been sitting in the box it was shipped in in a closet so it's still in the new condition it arrived in.

Demos starts at $30 is signed and it didn't come shrink wrapped but came in a plastic sleeve which it's still in.

None of them have ever been played.

Between New Jimmy Eat World listens today, I played Matt Skiba’s portion of the Kevin Seconds split. Still really enjoy the punchy acoustic songs on there.

 

Yeah his half of that split is great. Only song I don’t really enjoy much is City That Day.

Derek looks so weird with facial hair.
