I had the opposite experience when it first came out. Good Mourning is my favorite Trio release, and it was asking a ton of Crimson to meet the expectations I had for it. I liked the first couple tracks initially, but the album as a whole definitely didn't hit me for quite some time. It's probably my second or third-favorite at this point. Here's my current ranking of the closing tracks. I really love Krystalline, but they have so many great closers it ended up lower than I expected. Blue in the Face Radio Smoke Crawl Krystalline Fine Sorry About That Until Death Do Us Part Into the Night
“So I’ll wait here and pray I prayed that I was all wrong about prayer” Underrated Dan lyric from In My Stomach
Not many better songs out there that accurately describe anxiety/depression/etc IMO “It still grows in my stomach like mold/it keeps me just sick enough to stay home all alone”
It came out at a time where there was other really good music coming out and I got distracted *Bachna shrug*
I initially thought that but then realized Josh wasn't pictured so I could see Dan taking over for bass
This is really unexpected and could actually be really cool. A great way for Dan to use the time while Matt is busy with blink.
Is it just me or does Matt not seem bothered about the band anymore? I hope I’m just paranoid because I feel since he joined blink he just doesn’t seem bothered what so ever!
As a die-hard Trio fan that grew up on blink... I agree. Matt knows his job with blink is to let Mark and Travis shine and be the wingman. Trio is his legacy.
