Maybe Derek might be back.

 

It's honestly so expensive. I really want to go the whole weekend but it's hard to bite

 

Having trouble scoring tix at the moment, but if I do, you bet your bottom dollar I'm flying out to see them!

 

I respect the dedication of people flying places for shows. 2 hrs to NY and 1.5 hrs to Boston by car is my max range for traveling for a show lol. I don't have the energy for more than that hah

 

They added a 4th date for Chicago. On sale now:

 

Would these be special shows are just your standard Trio show. I haven't seen them either way. Just wanna know if it's worth travelling for.

 

Considering Derek is playing a show soon, it would seem a good possibility he'll be there for those shows in which case the sets would probably vary a good amount. If not and it's Jarrod again, I imagine pretty standard. Unless he learns more songs between now and then.

 

What show is Derek playing?

 

I'm not sure when, I saw it talked about in the FB group. I think it's like a random show with people from other bands

 

Derek is playing a show tonight at Debonair in Chicago.

 

I have tickets for all 4 nights now. I might just end up doing Thurs/Fri or Sat/Sun though

If Derek isn't there I probably will definitely only do a pair. With 4 shows they might as well do Past Live again haha

That's underwhelming.

 

I love Mike Park's little blurb on there about shipping. I'm not super crazy about the picture disc, though. If I didn't already have the album on vinyl, maybe. Though, it's not like I'm going to be spinning picture discs.

 

I never saw that picture on the back before which made it tempting but there's something about the look of picture discs I just don't care for

 

Also they sound bad

Damn no Derek at the Chicago shows :( Glad I'm only doing the first two nights now, I doubt the set changes up much

They lack a lot of punch without Derek, Jarrod is just so stiff and sounds like he's just banging on the drums.

 

Man, rehearsing with Trio and recording with Blink at the same time. Skiba is a beast

 

When I made the decision to go just Thurs and Fri, I thought I was going to get screwed out of having the good openers but I'm very happy with my decision now
