Breakdown is wonderful. The three songs from the split (from the same year as Breakdown) are even more wonderful. Hurricane Season is literally perfect, Peace Quiet and Monsters and Party Adjacent are fantastic, Patent Pending and Babylon and the Kevin Seconds split are brilliant. what a canon.

 

The thing that's awesome is the fact you see how open minded these three really are. " Please Don't Marry Me " is my favorite Derek track. The last Emergency Room tour Derek played drums in Dan's band. Hearing songs like Hurricane Season with a full band was such a treat ! Neil Hennessy from the Lawerance Arms played bass.

 

Almost Whole is probably my favourite of Derek's solo stuff, although I don't know if it beats out Don't Say You Won't (incredible tune and worthy of Crimson). Really the only downside to it all is that Matt still dominates 3/4ths of each album when not all his songs are him at his best. If they ever made an equally split Dan/Matt album, and hell throw in a Derek lead for the fuck of it? Man the things I would do for that album

 

I do wish it was more 50/50.

 

Holy shit. I wish I'd have:

a. Known about it.
b. Fucking known about it.
c. Why didn't anyone tell me?
d. I doubt it was near me in North Dakota but STILL I'd have flown for that.
e. all of the above.

 

Anybody remember this tour ? I went when it hit Philly. It was beautiful.

 

My Past Live vinyl bundle finally arrived today!

 

Is it as sexy as you thought it would be?

 

Definitely. The records look great.. very vibrant colors.

The wrong size shirt was sent to me, though, so I'm hoping I can get that fixed.

Weird. Received 2 of the 4 Past Live vinyls yesterday. Still missing the other 2 and the DVD.

 

My Past Lives order just came in today which totally surprised me because last update I got was the delay from the manufacturer and I never got an email saying my order was shipped. Oh well, a nice surprise for me!

I don't get hope up for anything teased these days, 95% of the time it's underwhelming compared to what you hope for. Buuut maybe this is in that good 5% we'll see lol

 

I'm not convinced it's anything Trio. If it was anything to do with a album Trios account would be teasing something. It's probably something to do with a painting.

 

That actually looks like the album cover for Good Mourning.

 

Don't think it's a painting. He's been tagging a photographer, same one who took their current tour photos.

 

I wonder if it's for the 15th anniversary for Good Mourning.

 

Looks like it came out May 13 so that doesn't really make sense

 

It's still make sense considering it's 15 years lol.

 

Maybe they'll play it at riot fest.

 

Since they did the Past Live that would be such an anticlimactic end to this tease. Ugh please be great haha
