Good stuff, Smokestack is like a classic E.P. number from early ALK3

 

1st and 3rd songs are very solid, middle one is soso. Overall diggin this!

 

Glad there are two Dan songs on here

 

dan songs rule. I love it.

 

Completely missed the one year anniversary of this dropping, hoping more new music is on the way.

 

I freaked out when I heard Smokestack because it was an old Dan solo song from like the early-mid 2000s that I had a bootleg recording of from the Milky Christmas show he played it at. Very cool to hear a final realized version of that song.

As someone who saw Dan solo a lot in his pre-Emergency Room days, he's got like3-5 songs at least from those days that I remember him playing that I would love to hear studio versions of. Little Help was one of those songs too, but I definitely preferred his original acoustic version of that to the rock song they made it into for ITTC.

 

I did not know that, though I thought most of the Dan songs on ITTC had the same kind of sound/tone as his solo work
