I think it is, and I think Matt addressed it once and said he had no idea why (and never inquired to fix it)

The version on "Remains" and "Crimson" are the same.

 

Are they? The version on Remains doesn't sound as polished.

 

I always thought they were the same recording, just a few touches to try and have them match the album, but not in a specific obvious way.

 

The One Man Army split version (on Remains) was the first recording and the Crimson one came after.

 

Definitely the demo version! This has bugged me for a year or so. It's nowhere near as polished

What a cool and eerie song Sadie is. So very Trio, and I’ve always felt it was easily one of their best because of that haunting feeling it’s leaves you with at the end.

Sadie is a perfect song for sure. I named my car after it lol
