I’d pay good money to hear Matt and Dan sing “bussin’”

 

They don't bother me at all. I feel like the only line that comes to mind that threw me off and took me out of the song is Matt's use of "motorbikes" in Burn and I feel like he used it again on This Addiction or MSIT. Sounded so clunky to me because that's not a very American term haha

 

Alkaline Trio isn't allowed to sing about electricity?

 

Speaking of, did we ever figure out why this band started singing about oceans and ships around This Addiction and then never stopped?

 

Matt shoulda brought the joke song tradition over from Blink and they shoulda wrote a 15 second song over a cool riff of them just going back and forth saying "This shit's bussin"

 

3 days after release and this is the level of nitpicking we're at lol

 

This legitimately made me chuckle lmao

 

Cameron must not have caffeinated them enough

 

This is shamefully the only Alk3 album I've ever listened to and it is awesome! Skiba's got a great voice and I honestly was a bit skeptical of a 2nd vocalist being just as good but Dan kills it IMO. Versions of You might be my favorite song of the year so far.

 

Oh buddy you have a great year of discovery ahead of you!

 

I’d say if you love this one, go to Crimson next. It’s probably their most accessible record, and I think it shares a lot of the same DNA as this album.

 

Meet Me was initially the only real clunker on this album for me probably because of the I E I E I part but I’ve gotten used to it now. Good song.

 

Appreciate the recommendation, I'll be giving that a spin on my commute home tonight!

Can't be needed, already saw the posts on Instagram thanking the band for "fixing" all the mixes on the final album.

 

Album is finally clicking with me. Love it!

 

"Bad Time" has a reference to the Latin Kings street gang in Chicago, so there's that!

 

Now I need to go listen!
