Not gonna try and rank all their albums but I think this sits right behind From Here to Infirmary as my 2nd favorite from them.

If they want to unseat that album they're gonna need to record themselves inventing God.

 

For whatever reason it sounds flat on Apple Music.

 

This is an absolute shredder from start to finish. Very Crimson but somehow also raw. It’s an appropriate amount of shimmer.

The back half fucking RULES.

 

Extremely positive first listen. Wow.

The boys have done it again. I have to agree with those who said this is their best album since Crimson.

 

I agree with it being the best since Crimson. But it's not entering my top four.

 

I need to listen to this album more...it's not as immediately accessible as previous records for me, so I'm guessing a bit more time with it will help. It's definitely different for them. Hoping it grows on me.

I appreciate that he owns it. You either have to accept it and let it progress or go shaved head, both are perfectly fine choices.

 

Best opening riff in a minute. Break is the immediate favorite for me. This record feels like an instant classic. I am going to have to catch a show on this album run.

Matt's best in a while. Lyrics and riffs are off the charts.

I don’t really dig my hair anyway. Plus I’m a hat guy, so I think it’s kind of working in my favor

It strikes me as almost AFI-ish, I love it

 

I've been thinning since about 25, lost my widows peak in my 20s, crown is starting to go now, too, but it's my fate. Not fighting it and I'll shave my head one day.

 

Gave this a full listen before work this morning and was really shocked at how good it is! Crazy how many bands like Alkaline Trio and Blink are putting out some of their best work 30 years into their career.

Meet Me was my immediate favorite.

 

Not me already having plans for the Chicago date and looking up whether I want to drive to St Louis or Detroit.

 

I’ll likely do the same eventually. I’ve always wanted to try it so see what it’d be like. Wife wasn’t a huge fan of the idea but now she’s on board. All the more reason to try it!
