Every time I've seen them since Matt got sober has been a delight. Every time has been better than the last. They were my highlight of the FOB Wrigley show, the energy they have has been something special. They're having a blast for the first time in probably 20 years and it shows.

 

Every time on "Shake With Me" I always sing the lyric "You went to the mountain..To hunt... GOATS."

It just makes it fun for me.

 

Broken Down in a Time Machine might be my favorite Dan song in a decade.

Haven't gone snooping around to find the album, I have been chipping away at a discog play through this week. It is awesome to see all of the hype for people who have heard it. Very excited to check it out tomorrow. Caught a couple of Skiba interviews. He is saying a lot of the same things, but he seems very happy to be in trio full time and wanting to get the word out on how special this record is.

 

No, but he mention he wrote for a few hip hop artists though.

 

I could be wrong but I remember there was talk that he did The River by Good Charlotte.

Hearing three more songs so far I'd actually say it feels like creatively they were pretty on par with Crimson

Lol Yeah its Ghosts.. but the mountain part makes me always think.. Mountain Goats.. and hunting them just seems hilarious to me.
