yeah I do really like this record and don’t regret my preorder.

 

After a few more listens, I’ve decided I’m getting a copy!

 

This album is good and I have literally zero qualms on the production or mix. Works for me!

Meet Me & Teenage Heart are my immediate favorites but dear lord that lyric in Teenage Heart came outta nowhere

 

I’m excited to hear the whole record. Hope the vinyls arrive close to the release date. That will likely be my first listen.

 

When Dan comes in on "Shake With Me" ...

 

Ok now… can someone poi t me in the right direction?

 

Im not great at mixing and stuff but I had this thought with all the "mix" complaints I hear.. I wondered if part of that factor was the fact that Skiba DID avoid power chords more.. His guitar always felt pretty present in the mix but it almost seems like the parts he plays on this record fill more of the "space" than usual. Just a thought.

 

That was my thought as I was first hearing Teenage Heart. Came out very dark for a band that's always been dark, and yet very effective lol.

 

Goddamn. What a record. I'm surprised by this in the best way. Bad Time was a good single choice, and I'm floored with the 1-2 punch of Break and Shake With Me. Closer is amazing. So impressed. What a sendoff for Derek too. Excited for the next record already.

 

Yea Break and Shake With Me right after is insanity

 

I'm too old and washed to find a leak, but hearing all these positive reactions make me SUPER excited for this record.

I doubt I have listened to these guys in ~20 years but the new album is sounding good!

I ordered the black, red and white striped vinyl. Thinking about picking up the Urban Outfitters one too. Wish I had gotten the red and black one that Dan posted on his IG, no idea why I didn't at the time lol. Only 300 so it's long sold out.

 

It took a little bit but Versions of You finally clicked with me. Great song.

 

I've honestly listened to this 4-5 times today alone. just keep finding more things I love about it, such a consistently surprising and well-made record from them. it's eclipsing Cursed for me and that's no small feat, I adore that record

 

I find myself returning to Shake With Me the most. Love Matt’s vocal delivery.

 

Man I can't wait to get this haha
