it is... so boring lol. consciously know I've listened to it more than a dozen times over the years and I still have no idea what the song sounds like

 

Fair enough….I love the song.Especially the chorus.

 

It’s the version from the 2004 split. Even iTunes/Apple Music have the wrong version so I have no idea where to even buy the song legally to replace the shit version lol.

 

I kinda like the rougher version of Sadie. Can go with either one though

but yeah it's reallllllllllll tough. Those top two are probably the Dan songs I've listened to the most amount of times, but like, I love so many others lol. MICF, Buried, Burned is the House, In Vein, Every Thug, One Hundred Stories,(really just every Dan song on GM and FHTI), Broken Wing, etc etc etc. Just too many to name.

 

I want to also shout out Radio Violence as a great Dan gem. I honestly think that's one of the best Trio songs I've heard in a long time.

 

I Lied My Face Off was the first dan song/second trio song I heard, that helped me get into them. I remember at the time a friend gave me Goodbye Forever and I Lied My Face Off and outside of Blink I hadn't really heard or listened to a dual vocals band before so I just assumed at the time that the band must have switched singers at some point lol. Once Good Mourning came out and I bought the album I realized it was two singers

 

That whole EP is some of their best work in a while.

it's so good. and I love Buried, it's definitely a weird deep cut though. iirc even the band don't like it

anyway I just snuck to the toilet to listen to Versions of You and it is insanely good. that mathy riff with the gruff vocals in the intro is nasty as hell and the bridge is fantastic. I'm officially hyped as hell
