Having seen this yesterday in the theater, I gotta agree. Not much they can really do about it. They’re recorded how they were in the 70s. But it does sound pretty tinny.

Just rewatched Aliens and so pumped for this. Following a group of colonizers on (most likely) LV-426 is a great hook, and I feel like Fede is going to knock it out of the park

not sure how I feel about it following a group of younger 20 year olds, but hope it works

 

Is there any chance this is THE colony group that the marines arrive just slightly too late to save? I wasn’t sure what the exact timeline of this movie was outside of between 1 and 2.

 

Also can we get some of the xenomorph variants I had as action figures when I was a kid? Give me that badass mantis alien or the king cobra alien lmao jk maybe

hasn’t every single alien movie since the 90s given us some new and dumb xenomorph variant? definitely been diminishing returns. covenant did it best I guess if I had to choose.

 

Finally watched Prometheus and I liked it. Definintely a Lindeoff movie lol

Plot just keeps going back and forth between the location and the ship and loses a bit of steam. Also, the characters just keep making stupid decisions, rather than the other films where it’s a battle of wits
