Really liked the claustrophobic feel to this teaser. Feels like the original film.

First thing I noticed was how classic Alien-ey the production design in the ship looks

We’re gonna have so many people who see this talking about how great it looks and wondering why films don’t look that good anymore haha

Saw some people mentioning that in the trailer you see the Weyland-Yutani Corp with the Xeno (from Alien) that was blasted into space being transported by a group of people, possibly part of the prologue to this film

I just watched Alien for the first time this weekend. Really enjoyed it and it held up well except for a few things.

    1. The constant smoking is absurd.
    2. The sound mixing was rough and hard to hear a lot of the dialogue and while the movie looked great for 1979, it sounded like a 70's movie.
    3. The flashing effects. Definitely seemed like something that could trigger seizures.

Excited to make my way through the rest of the franchise though I did see promotheus when it came out but that's it.

I can't imagine what it was like in a theater back then not knowing what you were getting into. I'm always jealous whenever I see a classic that was probably just so far above and beyond the typical experience. Those are rare these days. I don't even really know what movie from the last 5 years that I'd put in that category.

I always wanted another Alien film that stars Parker (RIP Kotto)
