This is the most vague description of an Alien premise possible lol

I also haven't seen anything actually setting it on Earth aside from the posters? Lol. Does it make sense to set it on Earth as a prequel? Wouldn't there be knowledge of the xenos before the first film if that was the case?

 

I suppose it could be leaning into the idea that The Company knew they were out there and it wasn't a coincidence where the Nostromo was sent

 

Also willing to bet the Xenos landing on earth might have something to do with what David (the android played by Michael Fassbender, not you) does at the ending of Covenant.

Not gonna watch it again. Told me all I need to know without spoiling the story. There are more seasons of Fargo that are stone cold classics than mediocre.

I somehow had no idea Olyphant was in this, lol

 

I am a little nervous about the trailer saying there are five(?) different creatures, kind of just want a lean xenos on Earth show, but I am still interested

 

Per the article I posted, it takes place two years before the original Alien.

 

I am interested in that. In Alien lore there has always been talk about other alien species earth has made contact with, but we never see them. There was a brief mention about it in Aliens.
