Another needledrop on the closeup haha It’s like the eyeball is going to take the other species down then ride off into the night
I am glad they are going in the direction with Kirsh that I thought they were going with. The opening crawl basically spelled out the thesis here and the lines being drawn. When it comes down to it this show is going to be about Wendy vs Kirsh vs Marrow for who rules humanity's future in the stars.
Yes lol I think I made the post in here earlier about how the outcome is already seemingly clear and that's why Kirsh might be the most crucial character.
I know in the movies and in the show they want the aliens for biological weapons but who the hell are they fighting that they need these biological weapons?
No, sorry, you misunderstand. I'm laughing because you think they need a reason to stockpile incredibly dangerous weapons.
This last ep was the breaking point of people being stupid and reckless that goes to Prometheus/others' level which I understand why for the plot but still feels very frustrating. Hope the last eps of the show don't rely too much on that. Also what happened to cavalier always being on top of things. So not only reckless but inconsistent. But what can I say, I'm not new to the franchise, I know how the sausage is made.
I'm sure the idea of putting a human consciousness into a synthetic body seemed appealing initially, but giving what are essentially children those kind of abilities and responsibilities is obviously such a terrible choice. I like the decision to have them be responsible for the breaks in containment, and not it being just more human error. They're definitely laying the groundwork for why synthetics are the primary artificial lifeforms in the future. It's becoming clear that Kirsh is definitely willing to let them burn it all down, and I'm here for it.
Yeah, it's definitely a bit of a "are you serious" concept, although it lends itself to some interesting scenarios. The part a few episodes ago where Nibs had a tantrum and almost killed Dame Sylvia was crazy (speaking as a parent of a toddler). But I really feel for the hybrids, especially after the last episode.
Fire the lead scientist in your super secretive lab but give him 12 hours of unsupervised access to pack his things? Grocery store employees would get escorted out when they're fired. Otherwise, really good ep
Right? Obviously he had to be there so he could get facehugged, but c'mon! I'd ask how Prodigy is a trillion dollar company, but we saw the caliber of people working for WY in episode 5.
I love so much about this show but talking to and teaming up with a Xenomorph is so dumb to me. Absolutely hate it
