It drives my wife crazy that I will watch Prometheus so many times and talk about it at length yet say that I don't like the movie.

With Alien: Covenant I was able to enjoy it the whole time I was watching it. It wasn't like I didn't notice all of the stupid stuff that was happening - I did, it just didn't bother me. Plus it gets points for having moments where it's genuinely creepy AF and unsettling .

By third prequel do they mean a follow up to Covenant? If so that's fucking great. Excited to see the story continue, esp since they left us on a cliffhanger.

As a long time Alien fan, no. I straight up hate how Ridley took away all the mystery of the Xenomorphs, which is part of what made them so scary and fascinating, and made them the creation of an android with an ax to grind.

Let the franchise die. Kill it if you have to

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Prometheus ruled. I hated Covenant. Hopes aren’t high for this one.

Loved Prometheus, but was pretty disappointed by Covenant. Would definitely check out another

Still think Covenant is a solid B movie slasher. Was really hoping a third Prometheus movie would be a straight Engineer revenge movie where they hunt down the ship from Covenant, and attempt to take out the Xeno.

Even though Prometheus & Covenant feel like an incomplete trilogy, I still really enjoyed the latter film. I’m definitely down for more Alien films although I have my doubts...Ridley Scott likes to overhype projects, especially when it comes to this franchise

    make it a series

they’ve been talking about how it’s been cost prohibitive to make the films vs how well they perform at the box office
