as one of the few people who actually loved Prometheus, I can't wait for more crazy Ridley Scott sci-fi
Watched Prometheus again last night. I love that movie. Michael Fassbender's character, David, is so frustrating. Even though I know he has his own reasons, it just seems like he's out to sabotage that mission from the beginning. Dr. Holloway (Logan Mashall-Green) certainly doesn't do anything that might convince him to change his mind either. He throws subtle jabs at him throughout most of his time on the ship and planet.
The mythology of the series is so fascinating, even if the weird breeding in Prometheus mixed it up, but it is hard to get too excited with Scott anymore. The whole "this is just like the original but it is a different planet" is such a bizarre idea.
The thing about Prometheus is that it really was a visually stunning film. I still think about how amazed I was at it in the theaters and it almost helps me block out the script problems that brought it down. If Ridley can bring that same visual excellence to this film, only with a better script, then this could be great.
hella excited. Prometheus has some of the most stunning cgi and design and asked some interesting questions so i'm hoping they go deeper into that
Oh for sure. That's who I thought it was when I first glanced over the picture without seeing who it was.
