Ayyyy new music - rad! Last record was pretty damn great

 

it was great, thanks to the thread bump for reminding me about it in general.

This is unexpected and sounds so awesome

a Bad Brains inspired re-imagining of "Attitude" is coming out this month

 

I love the band. Not quite sure why the band decided to rehash an old song like this. It’s fine. Not something I can see myself revisiting.

I think it's cool they did it but I think thats a tall task and doesn't hit the mark

 

They wanted to have fun with it. I don't think they are going for a Smooth Criminal or Movies type of hit. Just something that shows off their talent, individually and collectively.

Clearly they love Bad Brains because this is definitely a homage to them.

Also, I think this is a sign that we are gonna get a pretty heavy sounding new album from them.

They seem really happy.

 

I listened to Bad Attitude a few minutes ago and I like it quite a bit. It's always fascinating to me to hear songs completely repurposed and I think they nailed the vibe they were going for. It's just neat.

On a different note, tried to gather the band's more notable b-sides and Dark In Here off The Punisher game is extremely difficult to find a good quality version of. Can only find 128kbps on Soulseek and I thought I found a FLAC online but if that's FLAC then I'm an ostrich.

It says the digitally edited likelihood is 3%

 

Alright its settled AI is smarter than I am.

 

I also used an AI image detector. It says there's a 0.01% probability of it being AI-generated. So, one of us is being lied to by what is likely AI - we all lose.
