Re-listened to Dog’s Blood earlier and I also think that one is pretty underrated. All of their releases are great for me.

 

Dogs Blood is where it’s at. Title track specifically

 

I like the artwork of Dog's Blood more than i like the actual release itself haha

 

I was listening to OC/YC yesterday afternoon. It is really really good and has jumped on my personal rankings. But man, the b-sides are so good as well. "Two Sisters" and "Wayfarer Youth" kick so much ass.

 

Moneen's version of Sharks and Danger on that split rules.

 

Both bands did great. AOF's version of "Tonight I'm Gone" kills me every time.

 

I'm def due to relisten to that split. Moneen did a vol 2 with Moving Moutains but it was only each band covering one song. I would love them to continue the Switcheroo Series

 

Revisiting the two bonus tracks now and although they are good, they def feel like bsides to me.

Edit: Ok Wayfarer Youth is dope

 

Seeing them with Moneen at their “last show ever” in Hamilton in 2012 was the most incredible experience. Glad they are (hopefully) coming back with new stuff

 

Now I'm playing the Crisis bonus tracks hah

I've always felt like Wayfarer could take the place of Heading for the Sun. Sun has always felt like too similar of a track to Midnight Regulations and Emerald Street, but not as strong. Having all three play in a row is the weak point of the album for me.

I would hope so with that avatar!

 

This band is the best in this genre and its sad they stopped but new music in 2019 from AOF will be bonkers.

 

When is it dropping? That I have no clue.

 

I wonder how much new music we are talking about here. New one off single only/ep/lp....

 

Hoping for an album, but I wouldn't be mad with any new aof.

 

I suspect we get a single and an LP at some point in 2019.

 

This thread being active makes me happy, but it's also making it harder for me to not get my hopes up.

 

been playing Crisis and Watch out on repeat. Can't get into Wade's vocals on Old Crows... still great Dallas moments on there though...
