The new Zola Jesus album is great and although I'm not a huge fan of the national, I enjoyed their new one after one listen.
I always look for your posts in this thread. Almost everytime they so closely resemble what I want to check out and more. So thanks for that.
Comeback Kid (I've heard good things, looking forward to checking it out) Four Year Strong (Because why not!?) MuteMath (This is great, and if it ends up being their last album, I would be sad but it'd be a great way to go out) Ted Leo (Everyone should check this out!)
I'm flattered haha. I'm pretty sure you're the member with the most similar tastes to me on the site, at least that I've come across. Canadian post-hardcore fans for life
I'm very pleasantly surprised by the new Four Year Strong acoustic/reimagining release. Interesting takes on their songs.
Lots of great stuff today. In addition to all thats been mentioned, I missed the release last week from this band called Across the Atlantic. Has anyone heard this? It sounds almost exactly like A Day To Remember to me, like exactly in some songs.
Such a solid release day: The National, Alvvays, and Mutemath are all great. Currently spinning the new Death From Above 1979 And planning to check out Being As An Ocean, Comeback Kid, and Stray From The Path as the day rolls on.
i added almost a dozen releases today, wow the national lomelda princess nokia pardoner strange relations small circle infinity girl lunice faith healer zola jesus alvvays
Belle Game, The National, Rostam, MUTEMATH + Odesza are my top priorities. Might check out Mount Kimbie, Zola Jesus & Alvvays. Stacked week!
Dang Lionize sounded so familiar to me for some reason and I finally know why. I saw them perform at Warp Tour a couple of years ago randomly and they killed it. They were a lot of fun to watch
Totally agreed. Loving the album way more than I thought I would. "Pixie Oaks" is a huge throwback and the drums on it are extra-killer.
