Gave this a follow. Your lists are always so full and complete. We have some overlap, but there’s always some stuff we differ on or bands I like that didn’t catch in my RR.

Listing genres is so tough, haha. I may label a band something one day and something else another. Then I feel bad placing some bands under a catch-all genre like “pop punk” when they’re a little more interesting then whatever that genre means to the specific listener. In the end, it’s just a general guide and the individual has to listen to truly know.

I just learned that deleting a playlist that someone else follows does not delete it for that follower. Relieved, because my playlist library has gotten massive and I’m probably not going back to some of the older RR’s I’ve created and dropped here with my lists. I typically only listen to a RR for the weekend and following week then don’t revisit it, but I keep a running yearly release playlist that is my go-to. However, I don’t add singles to that, just EP’s and albums (since there would eventually be repeats). Maybe I should separate that out because there are one-off singles that are great and might get lost in the way I handle all of this.

New music Friday’s — its serious business! Lol

Items on my radar for today:

    New albums from
    Bokassa
    Imagine Dragons
    Iron Maiden
    Manic Street Preachers
    The Picturebooks
    Seething Akira
    Tigress

    New EP from
    New Found Glory

    and that's about it.

Side note: It's always bothered me a bit that I see certain albums appear multiple times on the calendar for days they're not out. Like for example, Danko Jones came out last week and was on last week's posting, and yet here it is again. Is there not a way for people to edit and correct that?
