Throwing in a quick, but strong recommendation for The Slang - “Divide.” Their debut full-length is one of the better pop rock records I’ve heard this year, and I’ll be writing about it soon.

Angels & Airwaves - loving it musically. Lyrically…some of it is not great. All the “little girls,” “little Cinderellas” are so…weird for an old dude. But there’s some great tunes too…!

Mentioned Blodet in my list but they definitely deserve the extra shout out, album is great. Church Road Records have been putting out stellars since it started.

Also that new Bartees Strange single, who I also got to see (and meet) last week. Excited with what is coming next from him.

Y’all need to check out the band Urethane. I just stumbled upon it. Strong fat wreck punk vibes and the song with Toby Morse slaps!

Yeah this is good. A few people who I listened with thought it sounded like Fat Mike from NOFX, so I had to search the band and turns out its skate legend Steve Caballero’s band. Also featuring members of War Fever and the Bombpops, so those punk roots are strong.
