You missed Allegaeon-Proponent for Sentience. Metal AOTY. I know I promote these guys like crazy, but not just because they're dear friends of mine, because they are so gifted it's frightening.

 

I mentioned this on page 1. Listened to it earlier today. So good. I dunno about metal AOTY but it's def top 5!

 

Heck yeah brother! So glad you like it. And if you've met the guys they are just fabulous gentlemen, Greg especially. He lives right by me and is always down for jamming. Favorite song off PFS?

 

Awesome recommendations, just saw Juliette Lewis but had no clue she was in GTO! They are such a talented bunch.

 

Grey Matter Mechanics is one that stands out to me. I'm sure after more listens I'll grow more fondly of the balls-to-the-wall heavy songs.

The whole band rips but, their guitarists really shine on that one.

 

Mick Jenkins new album is really good. Definitely recommend for rap fans

 

It's a great track! IMHO Greg is on the shortlist of the best guitarists in music. He can do it all.

 

Too Close To Touch fucking killed it this week, as did ETID

 

Paper Route's album is what I've been waiting for all year. Exactly what I wanna hear transitioning from summer to fall!

 

I said I forgot about Paper Route - I listened to the album yesterday and holy shit it's so good, so different at the same time, nearly like M83 or Chvrches at times, love it!
