Today is a all about the heavy stuff. Every Time I Die - Low Teens Stick To Your Guns - Better Ash Than Dust Expire - With Regret
ETID is all I need for the rest of the year. Fuse posted a cool interview with Kieth. I had no idea him and Brendon Urie were good friends.
This album's also now on Spotify/iTunes etc today and it's probably in my top 5 of the year. FFO: Poison The Well, Misery Signals, Metalcore that doesn't suck.
I mean, the new ETID has been steamrolling my car speakers all week, but I had no idea Vangelis was releasing a new album today. So wish we could hear new compositions from him for that Blade Runner sequel.
Billie Marten - Writing Of Blues and Yellows Warpaint - Heads Up Every Time I Die - Low Teens How To Dress Well - Care And a bunch of other stuff.
Too Close to Touch, Every Time I Die and Beach Slang and PAPER ROUTE!!! Also an indie pop album by Gemini dropped oday
Besides the obvious* that everyone has mentioned, the new In Between album Locustvale is a great slab of gritty emo/pop punk (think Polar Bear Club meets Taking Back Sunday). I'm also excited for the new Tokyo Police Club EP and TIger Lou's new record. Oh, and the unreleased MCR songs from that rerelease of The Black Parade. *The obvious being ETID, Beach Slang, and Too Close to Touch
Woah, didn't realise Paper Route's LP due for today, and it's 16 songs! I'll check out ETID too, and is it worth to listen to How To Dress Well? I just heard one song only.
Oh and I almost forgot somehow, I've just listened to the new Casey album called "Love is not Enough", I'm sure today's the premiere, and it's really awesome! (also, a cool guest spot from Michael of Being As An Ocean/ex-Elijah) EDIT: Absolute must hear - a new split from swedish indie/post-rockers Ef with a band called Tiny Fingers! I haven't heard all of it yet, but the single was astonishing (I love Ef!! ;D).
Planning on buying Every Time I Die CD after work today. I bought Flock of Dimes digitally--it's a fantastic album from the singer of Wye Oak. Beach Slang was pretty disappointing to me and How to Dress Well sounded pretty disgustingly sexual from the clips I heard. Dwight Yoakam's album was solid as was Hamilton Leithauser. Warpaint sounds good but I don't think I'll get it. ETID's the big one today though, now just waiting for Opeth and Yellowcard next week.
Everyone commenting about LVL UP got me curious--the clips sound pretty sweet! Surprised I haven't heard of them before. Also totally forgot about new Paper Route even though I read a review for the album earlier this week, haha.
The song No Tolerance is straight up Terror and it is awesome! Pure Noise is going to close out the year pretty strong! We already have the new Knocked Loose which is heavy as hell. We just got the new STYG. We also have the new To the Wind and Boston Manor coming out as well!
