The Copeland record is simply beautiful.

Looks like the internet is very divided on the new Mars Volta, but I think they pulled of a really great record and change of sound.

In 2009, I was in a band called The Glass Gentlemen, and we released 5 EPs/albums in our 5 years together. But back then, I was awful at the home recording thing, so our stuff never came out as awesome as it sounded in our heads.

But I was going through my old hard drives and I found all of our old recording project files. So I went in and cleaned up all the vocals and then re-recorded all of the instrumentation. And now the songs finally sound more or less the way we intended them to sound!

I made an EP of 5 of our old songs reworked/spiced up. Give it a gander, if you’d like!

I don't see "Dear Boy - Forever Sometimes" on the list. I feel like a lot of people here would love it. Under the radar for sure for me, but damn is it good.

Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

I'll come back and say that I just listened to Death Cab en route to work... Absolutely brilliant!

I mean I am bias since they've been one of my favourite bands since 2003 (I did name my oldest son Benjamin).

But I'm definitely feeling this album and I can admit I was a bit skeptical after hearing "Roman Candles". Skepticism out the window. Definitely a fall album to add to the list.
