This is so exciting, I love surprises like this. Also excited about the new Chat Pile/Hayden Pedigo record, and the new Ace record too!
I cant get you out of it! LOL jk, happy to support and spread the word on any bands and artists from here. I really dig the song too. Is this just a feature by you or going with the band name? I can’t recall if you had mentioned it before.
Snocaps!!! I saw this pop up and was so confused. Adult PS Eliot is why I’m here! also Work Wife - they did a song with my friend Mary Hood years ago and are great.
Aephanemer (Utopie) -- Top-tier progressive death metal with some light symphonic elements. Yellow Eyes (Confusion Gate) -- Progressive black metal titans surprise drop! Howling Giant (Crucible & Ruin) -- Catchy mix of stoner rock, traditional heavy metal, & light AOR. Currents (All That Follows) -- One of the most consistent metalcore bands drops a wonderful EP. Primitive Man (Observance) -- Heavy, groovy, epic, & oppressive doom. Burned in Effigy (Tyrannus Aeternum) -- Black Dahlia Murder-like melodic death metal. BIANCA (Bianca) -- Pretty great one-woman black metal. Creeper (Sanguivore II) -- Traditional heavy metal mixed with AOR & gothic rock. I like where the band has been turning into. Despised Icon (Shadow Work) -- Really good deathcore. 408 (Generational 2) -- Good pop-punk that's more on the pop side. Gazpacho (Magic 8-Ball) -- Art/Alt-prog. Kind of like Pure Reason Revolution. Bloom (The Light We Chase) -- Good metalcore. Unprocessed (Angel) -- Djent One of nine (Dawn of the Iron Shadow) -- Dungeon synth-y black metal.
I don't think I've brought up this project on Chorus before! It's a new duo with an Australian songwriter. He's been writing hooky pop gems for years, but he lacks the musical ability to fulfill his visions for the songs (and he also doesn't care for his own singing voice). So he brought the songs to me to record them; at first, the idea was that I'd arrange and record the music while he found different singers to sing them, but it evolved into a cool partnership where I'm singing all of them on top of helping rewrite them. So I'm inevitably putting a "Chase Tremaine" touch on the songs, but my main goal is to make the best possible versions of his songs, so that he can finally share them with the world!
