The Rilo Kiley re-issue is perfect Friday music. So happy to have that now.

 

Pretty rad that 48 hours ago I had no idea I would be getting new DBT or Laura Jane Grace today.

 

I'm surprised no love for the Hunna. Produced by Feldy. Travis Barker and Josh from 21 pilots on album as well. Looking forward to listening to that later on.

Really excited for Bartees Strange and Field Medic, though I've been so fucked these past two weeks I've still got lots of things to catch up on, like last week's huge premieres ;d

 

Oh man. Gabriel Garzón-Montano's Agüita might be the album I've truly been looking for. Only a few songs in, but I'm seriously impressed. Having listened to or at least tried out somewhere around 15 albums this morning, either GGM or Bartees Strange wins the day for me.

The new Elvis Perkins record is pretty cool.

 

Saw a mention of him on indieheads recently and checked out the EP he had released, but only casually. Listening through this now, 3/4 done and wow, already know this is going to be one of my favorites this year.

Edit: For real, just picked up the vinyl and shirt.

 

I didn't realize that!! Bummer, I was hoping from some new tunes from them!

Discovering Bartees Strange today is the reason I read through these comments each week. I'm on my third or fourth time through. Bless y'all
