    Northcote & William Prince*!

*William Prince could sing about a phone booth from a phone booth and I'd give it a listen, so I'm putting aside the fact it's a gospel album.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Busy Day! I've gotten through Souvenirs, I Love Your Lifestyle and Pallbearer so far and they're all worth a listen.

Souvenirs really impressed me on their new one, pretty huge improvement from Posture of Apology (which I still think is a really good record). It almost sounds like a follow up to PV that Turnover never made.

I don't believe the Sam Smith album was released today. Might have been pushed back.

Yeah, I don't mind the song. It's not bad. I have liked a few illenium tracks in the past as well.

Yeah, I honestly don't know lol. Was hoping he'd use this as an opportunity to explore his range as a songwriter like we saw on the color spectrum, but this sounds very much still in the lane he's been in for the last few years.

who told you this room exists? Supporter

His statement was roughly that The Dear Hunter is no longer a solo run project and hasn't been for a while, so he didn't want to release solo music under that moniker and save TDH for things the band worked on together.

I don't know how many people here listen to Dave Barnes but he has a podcast called Dave's 5 Hot Takes and Cory was recently on it. It was a fascinating and very entertaining interview.

    Salem & PUP EPs
The Wonder Years & Motionless In White singles!

probably gonna give clipping a listen due to the amount of love it seems to be getting in here. And pinkshift thanks to that RIYL up there.

  16. He decided to use a moniker instead of releasing it as "Casey Crescenzo," so I assume that he worked on this with less band-involvement?

I'm thinking there's also the chance that, 1) he regrets releasing Color Spectrum and Migrant as "Dear Hunter" albums, or 2) he's ready to put a pin in TDH once the final Act project is complete. But both of those could be way off, and I'm personally hoping that TDH will continue onward in more Color/Migrant like directions once the Acts are done.
