    • Tophouse (Theory & Practice) -- Truly wonderful indie folk. Some stomp-clap elements are present, but don't let that deter you. This is a compilation of two EPs they put out this year & last year, along with a new song.
    • An Abstract Illusion (The Sleeping City) -- Progressive death metal. I think their last album (song?) is an all-time great. Edit: I have some slight issues with the mixing, but this is fucking incredible.
    • AFSKY (Faellesskab) -- Great black metal from a dude who doesn't seem like a piece of shit.
    • Silly Goose (Keys To The City) -- Limp Bizkit-esque nu-metal. Every one of these songs makes me just want to move. Damn good, stupid fun.
    • Militarie Gun (God Save The Gun) -- Catchy punk. These guys are great.
    • Anthms (Does It Ever Get Better?) -- Emo-tinged pop-punk. This is their first LP -- I really enjoyed their EPs.
    • Wings of Steel (Winds of Time) -- Thrash AND power metal combine!
    • Void of Sleep (The Abyss into...) -- Progressive sludge.
    • The Isosceles Project (Bear the Torch) -- Instrumental stoner prog
    • Imogean Heap (Speak for Yourself Remaster) -- I really enjoy this album. I don't member too many production quibbles on the original, so I'm interested to see what they did.

Noise Ratchet! Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in forever - I loved the self titled EP. Also the “till we have faces” album led me to go read the C.S. Lewis book “till we have faces” which was a trip. I’ll definitely be checking out Freedom
