New Virginity record is my highlight today. Also gonna check out: Julia Shapiro Knocked Loose Melvins Beach Lab Starflyer 59 Craneium Namesake Salt Creek
Unless I'm missing something, They Might Be Giants isn't out today. Also, the Seether rarities thing looks like it's verbatim the same rarities set from their last hits album years ago. A little disappointing that it's nothing new. Finally, since you have Ded and From Ashes on your list, you might also get some mileage out of Gemini Syndrome. It's not rap-rock, it's more like Mudvayne, but throwing it out there anyway.
The new Mac Miller is a tough listen…great music but the lyrical content is nearly all about how he forecasted his last hours…takes me right back to all the red flags in Chester’s music after he passed
Knocked Loose, This Wild Life, and playing the hell out of the new Youth Fountain singles. Highly anticipating that album. All singles have been awesome so far.
Ah, cheers for the recommendation. I'll check them out. :) As for They Might Be Giants, they put out an EP called 'Part Of You Wants To Believe Me' earlier this week, or at least that's what's coming up on Spotify.
You're welcome. And it's not an EP, so much as them slowly releasing songs that will be on their album Book, which comes out November 12th.
Came here to post this too. I love that she re-did a track from the Broken Bracelet album too. Very excited to order this on vinyl after 20 years!
Yo this Remi Wolf album is amazing. My favorite pop album I've heard this year, I think! Was also introduced to a band called Glowing Moses and was really impressed by their debut Event Horizon that released today. This song was the standout: Planning on revisiting both of these albums a lot for the remainder of the year.
This album is such a fun listen. Reminds me of that You, Me, and Everyone We Know record from a couple weeks back. Like upbeat pop punk. Really happy with today’s album & EP drops. Defences is a nice post hardcore rocker, MakeWar has some punky I Am The Avalanche type vibes, and Pierre is a great grungey punk offering. Also, the new Zeal & Ardor single is a straight smasher. Holy shit.
